Cary, North Carolina, United States: Green Start Academy (GSA) has announced the opening of its application window for the 21st consecutive year, welcoming aspiring assistant superintendents to apply for its premier leadership and professional development programme.

Returning to the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina for its sixth year, GSA will once again partner with industry leaders John Deere and Envu.

For more than two decades, Green Start Academy has helped assistant superintendents strengthen their leadership capabilities, expand their professional networks and gain the practical knowledge needed to advance their careers in golf course management. The programme remains committed to investing in the next generation of industry leaders and equipping participants with the tools they need to succeed in an evolving and growing golf industry.

Kim Ehasz, Global Manager of Market Development & Strategy at John Deere, said: “Green Start Academy continues to create meaningful opportunities for the current generation of assistant superintendents by fostering growth, both personally and professionally.

“We are proud to continue our support of this impactful programme that helps emerging leaders build valuable industry connections, learn from experienced mentors and prepare for the next stage of their careers.”

This year’s GSA programme will take place December 8-11 at Pinehurst Resort and will once again bring together some of the most promising assistant superintendents from across North America for an immersive educational and networking experience. Attendees will participate in mentor-led presentations, panel discussions and collaborative learning sessions designed to encourage the exchange of industry best practices and support long-term professional development.

Jeff Kwiatkowski, Head of Turf and Ornamental – US at Envu, said: “Green Start Academy reflects what’s possible when industry partners come together with a shared commitment to education, innovation and long-term success. We’re incredibly proud to support this programme and the talented assistant superintendents it brings together each year. Their dedication inspires us, and we look forward to seeing how they will help shape the future of the game.”
