Smartscore’s Strategic Link with Hoiana Shores

Hoi An, Vietnam: Global golf platform Smartscore has announced a strategic partnership with Vietnam’s premier integrated resort, Hoiana Resort & Golf, to deploy an advanced golf club management system.

Under this agreement, Smartscore will introduce its cart and caddie tracking solution, real-time scoring and printing system, and round operation management platform at Hoiana Shores Golf Club, enhancing operational efficiency and elevating the golfer experience.

Hoiana Resort & Golf is Vietnam’s leading all-in-one luxury resort, featuring more than 1,000 rooms across four hotels, a casino, restaurants, retail, and entertainment facilities.

Venue for the 2025 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific, Hoiana Shores Golf Club is the first course in Vietnam designed by world-renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr.

As well as being ranked among the Golf World Top 100 Courses (94th, 2023), Hoiana Shores was listed in Asia’s Top 100 Golf Courses (18th, 2024).

Recognised as one of Asia’s premier links courses, Hoiana Shores offers a true ‘Stay & Play’ experience, with world-class accommodation and breathtaking natural scenery along Vietnam’s Central Coast.

Vietnam has emerged as one of Asia’s fastest-growing golf markets, with double-digit annual growth in its golf population and a surge in international visitors. This collaboration with Hoiana is expected to become a critical stepping stone for Smartscore’s global expansion.

Currently, Smartscore serves over 500 golf clubs worldwide, including more than 420 courses in Korea and 80 courses overseas, and is planning to expand into North America, Europe, Oceania, and Japan by the second half of 2025.
