Algarve, Portugal: Club Car has delivered a fleet of 40 new Tempo golf cars to Palmares Ocean Living & Golf.

The luxury tourist and residential resort, located on the Algarve’s eastern coast, has recently undergone significant development with a new clubhouse opening last year, as well as the construction of high-end villas and apartments.

Palmares’ Golf Director Débora Andrade said: “With so many fantastic developments at Palmares, it was the right time to upgrade our golf car fleet to the latest model. Delivered by Club Car’s Portuguese dealer, Golfejardim, the high-spec vehicles feature the Tempo model’s rust-proof aluminium frame, a spacious dashboard and the comfort package which comprises premium seats, comfort steering wheel and dual USB ports.

They will be used on Palmares’ three nine-hole links courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, set in the natural amphitheatre of the Bay of Lagos and sweeping down to the Atlantic Ocean.
