Singapore: Marc von Grabowski has taken over the role of Regional Director for Jebsen & Jessen Technology’s Turf & Irrigation Division, effective immediately.

The appointment comes as Michael Nielsen is leaving the Group and Asia for private reasons. As such he is stepping down from his role as Regional Director for Turf & Irrigation Division and Managing Director for Jebsen & Jessen Technology in Indonesia.

von Grabowski, Chief Strategy Officer of Jebsen & Jessen Group, will extend his responsibility to concurrently oversee the Turf & Irrigation Division which operates across Southeast Asia.

von Grabowski is no stranger to the Group. He started with Jebsen & Jessen’s material handling joint-venture, MHE-Demag, in the Philippines in 2009 and, by 2015, he had risen through the ranks to become President of that company.

Last year, von Grabowski moved with his family to Singapore in order to join the Jebsen & Jessen executive management team. He could then proudly look back on his achievements in the Philippines as he more than doubled the turnover during his tenure as President and was leading a 300-person strong organisation.

“In this additional role, Marc will work closely with the whole Turf & Irrigation team to continue building the organisation to better serve our customers with total solutions in turf care and horticulture management,” said Per Magnusson, Chief Executive Officer, Jebsen & Jessen Technology, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).

Henrik Friis, former Regional Director for Jebsen & Jessen Technology’s Turf & Irrigation Division, will be assisting in the on-boarding process of von Grabowski. Friis will continue to represent Jebsen & Jessen on the AGIF Board for the remainder of 2021.
