Portland, Oregon, United States: Pacific Golf & Turf has been named as the Rain Bird Golf distributor throughout the Pacific Northwest.

“This is an important golf market for Rain Bird, and Pacific Golf & Turf has a strong reputation in the golf course industry,” said Scott Pace, Regional Sales Manager for Rain Bird Golf, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“Its staff has a proven record of providing top-notch support to superintendents and golf course maintenance personnel,” added Pace.

The partnership will serve as the cornerstone for the newly formed irrigation division of Pacific Golf & Turf, which has served the golf industry in the Northwestern United States as the distributor for John Deere Golf and E-Z-GO for the past 20 years.

The combination of Rain Bird irrigation with John Deere equipment allows Pacific Golf & Turf to take a more holistic approach when evaluating each course’s unique needs with an experienced consultative approach.

Leading the newly formed team with 30 years of experience in irrigation is Carl Taylor, Irrigation Area Manager for Pacific Golf & Turf.

“We are beyond excited for the opportunity to distribute the leading golf irrigation product in the market,” said Mark Dawkins, CEO and Owner of Pacific Golf & Turf. “Rain Bird’s offering coupled with our focus on customer service and support will be a powerful partnership, and it’s a perfect complement to our existing product lines.”

John Deere is an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
