Singapore: Centaur Asia Pacific Singapore has strengthened its Turf & Landscape division with the addition of Rodney McKeown, bringing extensive experience in golf course management, turf operations, and agronomy to the team.
Most recently serving as Golf Course Superintendent at Sentosa Golf Club, McKeown oversaw preparations for almost 30 internationally televised tournaments, gaining valuable experience in championship-level turf conditioning and golf course presentation.
His strong background in turf performance, plant and soil health, and on-ground operations across both turf and landscape environments adds valuable technical depth to the Centaur team.
Lyna Low, General Manager, Centaur Asia Pacific Singapore, said: “Rodney understands the realities of turf management from years of hands-on experience. His technical knowledge, customer-focused mindset, and passion for the industry will be a strong asset to both our team and our customers.”
In his role as Division Manager, Turf & Landscape, Centaur Asia Pacific Singapore, McKeown will work alongside the Centaur team as the company continues to build and strengthen its turf and landscape solutions across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
Working closely with customers, he will support the delivery of practical solutions that help improve turf performance, plant health, and soil health across a range of golf, sports turf, and landscape environments.
McKeown is also a Soil Scout Grandmaster, reinforcing Centaur’s commitment to advancing data-driven turf management practices.
Danny Potter, Founder and Owner, Centaur Asia Pacific, said: “The turf and landscape industry continues to evolve rapidly, and having experienced professionals like Rodney strengthens our ability to support customers with practical and reliable solutions across the region.”
Looking ahead, McKeown is excited to contribute his experience while continuing to learn, collaborate, and support customers throughout the region.
He said: “I’m excited to join Centaur Asia Pacific and look forward to supporting customers, sharing knowledge, and helping deliver practical solutions that support long-term turf performance.”
