LinksAsia Connects with Asian Golf Industry Federation

Hong Kong: LinksAsia, an interactive digital platform which provides the golf industry with content that focuses on the business of golf, has joined the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).

Launched last month, LinksAsia offers insights from industry leaders, direct networking opportunities and education on the current market via a series of interactive webinars with business leaders from both golf and non-golf companies.

Tim Orgill, Director of LinksAsia, said: “Our platform offers an introduction and background to the key players in the Asian golf industry and the latest updates on new products and services in the market for the retail and commercial sector.

“LinksAsia webinars will run in four-week blocks, providing industry professionals with key information, news and insights which will help them to run their business successfully while engaging directly with the industry as we enter a new era.”

Eric Lynge, the AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, was among the participants in LinksAsia’s first webinar: ‘Teeing up for success post Covid-19’, a discussion on the impact of the pandemic, the recovery of business within the golf industry in Asia and how to leverage the forced learnings of this unprecedented crisis to meet the needs of the community.

Lynge said: “During these challenging times, it’s been encouraging to see the golf industry in Asia uniting in many areas, most notably sharing information and best practices.

“LinksAsia’s webinars are an excellent way to disseminate details of how organisations are coping in the current climate – and planning for a brighter future. While we’re all adapting to ‘new normal’ practices, platforms such as this are especially important.”

Orgill said: “We are committed to supporting the golf industry and, as an Associate Business Member of the AGIF, we look forward to working alongside the Federation as the industry navigates its way through this crisis.”
