Hong Kong SAR, China: Club Car will once more be a driving force when the 65th edition of the Link Hong Kong Open tees-off this week.

Continuing its long-standing association with one of Asia’s most revered tournaments, Club Car will be deploying a comprehensive fleet at the Hong Kong Golf Club (HKGC) to provide all-around assistance and ensure the smooth-running of the Asian Tour showpiece.

Leveraging its innovative products and versatile, all-scenario solutions, Club Car aims to help create a greener and more efficient tournament experience.

A Club Car spokesperson said: “For Club Car, supporting the Hong Kong Open is far more than a one-off marketing initiative; it represents a long-term commitment spanning many years.

“Club Car has always placed great importance on the Hong Kong market. As a long-term partner of the Hong Kong Golf Club, its golf carts and utility vehicles have long been integrated into the daily operations at the Fanling course.

“This deep-rooted engagement and mutual trust have transformed the annual Hong Kong Open into a seamless, two-way partnership between the brand and the iconic Hong Kong venue.”

For the Hong Kong Open, Club Car’s fleet will cover VIP transport, logistics, and medical support.

Tempo 2+2 Lithium-Ion Vehicle: This model features Club Car’s all-new dashboard, set for release in the Asia-Pacific region this year. The new design offers improved ergonomics, easier access to items, better organisation, and more stable mobile device charging. This four-seater provides a quiet, smooth, and comfortable VIP shuttle experience for players, guests, and media.

Transporter 6: Tasked with transporting tournament equipment and personnel, the T6 excels in smooth handling and passenger comfort. Its high-quality, leather-upholstered seats provide excellent support and a snug fit, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing ride.

Carryall 700 New HP: Another new product launching in the Asia-Pacific region in 2026, the Carryall 700 has been upgraded from a DC system to an advanced AC system. The new AC motor and controller deliver more robust and efficient power, significantly boosting climbing capability and acceleration – even when fully loaded – making it well-suited for the undulating terrain and complex conditions of the Fanling venue. The brushless motor design eliminates the need for periodic carbon-brush replacement, thereby reducing long-term maintenance costs and vehicle downtime.

Ambulance: Professionally customised based on the Carryall 300 platform, this vehicle highlights the brand’s expertise in bespoke, specialised solutions. This vehicle can be flexibly configured to meet the medical requirements of a sporting event. Equipped with professional emergency medical gear, it remains on stand-by at the venue, ready to provide prompt and efficient emergency medical support for players, staff, and spectators.

Renee Xu, Vice President of Sales for Club Car in the Asia-Pacific region, said: “Club Car is more than just a long-term partner of the Hong Kong Open. We are co-creators of the tournament experience. Whether it is the golf carts used at the club or the multi-purpose vehicles provided for this event, these are not merely modes of transportation – they are embodiments of green technology and human-centric care.

“Drawing on over 60 years of brand heritage, we leverage our safe, reliable, and eco-friendly products, alongside our professional services, to join hands with the Hong Kong Open in supporting the long-term, sustainable development of golf.”
