Appointments Strengthen Aquatrols’ Team

Logo Aquatrols rNew Jersey, United States: Aquatrols – the world’s largest manufacturer of cutting-edge soil surfactants and related technologies – has appointed Thomas Valentine and Wesley Hamm as the newest Territory Managers for its growing North American sales team.
Valentine oversees the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and Hamm is responsible for the Southeast.
The appointments coincide with surging momentum for the business of Aquatrols, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Following its acquisition by Rural American Fund in 2015, the company installed a new leadership team, streamlined operations, instituted an aggressive research and development plan, and expanded product distribution.
Popular Aquatrols products include Revolution, Dispatch, Aqueduct and a suite of complementary surfactants essential to golf course superintendents, sports turf managers, landscapers, farmers and other growers. Each solution helps optimise soil-water-plant interactions in various agronomic conditions.
“Our commitment to deliver the highest service levels to customers means we continually invest in top-calibre professionals,” said Matt Foster, CEO of Aquatrols. “The addition of Tom Valentine and Wes Hamm will greatly assist in strengthening existing relationships and adding new ones.”
Valentine brings 20 years of executive experience in the green industry, most recently as National Agronomist and Key Accounts Manager at Synatek Solutions, a premier manufacturer and supplier of turf and athletic field products in the Mid-Atlantic. He is pursuing a Masters of Turfgrass Science at Penn State University.
Hamm joins Aquatrols with more than 15 years expertise in the turf equipment and commercial utility vehicle business. In addition to sales roles at Jerry Pate Turf & Irrigation and Regal Chemical, he was Director of Domestic Dealer Sales (Commercial Division) at Textron Specialised Vehicles.
“Aquatrols is the undisputed industry leader,” said Valentine. “I’m excited to work with our team and distribution partners to expand the business.”
Hamm added: “Having witnessed Aquatrols’ impressive growth from the outside, I am humbled to join its first-class team.”
Foster said Valentine and Hamm will contribute to Aquatrols’ success in the agriculture, horticulture and turf and ornamental categories, the latter containing trust of thousands of golf courses superintendents, including hosts of Major championships, the Ryder Cup and other international competitions.
The company is known for its unwavering commitment to educating the golf market about best management practices from tee-to-green and beyond. This thought leadership results in healthy turf, pristine playing conditions, increased golfer satisfaction, revenue generation and overall growth of the game.
