Walldorf, Germany: John Deere has introduced the new G5e Display, a cost-effective entry-level precision agriculture solution designed for small and mid-sized farms, turf professionals, mixed fleets and operators taking their first steps into digital farming.

Available as a G5e Universal Display it provides a simple, scalable and connected user experience across tractors, implements and utility vehicles.

The eight-inch, ISOBUS-certified touchscreen display serves as a central operator interface for implement control, documentation and connectivity, helping reduce cab clutter and simplifying daily operations.

Compatible across a wide range of equipment, the G5e is designed to make precision technology accessible to more farmers and turf professionals.

As a standalone display, G5e functions as an ISOBUS implement terminal. Combined with a compatible StarFire receiver, connectivity hardware and optional software licenses, it can support additional capabilities including AutoTrac and Section Control.

Documentation of field work, Variable Rate Application, Remote Display Access and Control as well as wireless data transfer to the John Deere Operations Centre are in-base for every display of the G5 family, including the G5e.

Maxim Zaitsev, Product Marketing Manager Precision Technology at John Deere, said: “Precision technology should be accessible for every customer, regardless of farm size or machine age.

“The G5e Display offers an affordable entry point into the John Deere eco-system while providing a clear path to additional precision capabilities as the farmer’s needs evolve.”

For farmers, the G5e supports more accurate documentation, improved guidance and simplified implement management. For turf operators, including municipalities, sports turf managers, golf courses and grounds-care professionals, it provides a straightforward way to connect equipment, capture operational data and manage jobs more efficiently.

By connecting machine and field data to John Deere Operations Centre, the G5e helps customers improve documentation accuracy, streamline data management and make better-informed decisions. Optional licenses allow users to expand functionality over time without replacing hardware, creating a future-ready pathway into precision agriculture and connected machine management.
