Hanoi, Vietnam: Next month’s Vietnam Golf Industry Conference will provide unique networking opportunities for golf courses, resorts and golf-related businesses.
To be staged at Hanoi’s Grand Plaza Hotel on September 15, the gathering is presented by the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) and Vietnam Golf & Leisure (VGL).
While speakers and panellists will turn the spotlight on the topics of tourism, technology and turf, delegates will have ample chances to mingle and meet with other attendees.
Chris Gray, President of the AGIF, said: “We know from past feedback that networking is an important element at all our conferences. It’s a prime chance for delegates to develop relationships with other people from the industry. As we’ve frequently seen, this, in turn, can lead to opening business opportunities.”
Gray’s views were endorsed by Yen Vu Van, Founder and Director of VGL.
She said: “We’re delighted that the Asian Golf Industry Federation is collaborating with VGL to bring the Vietnam Golf Industry Conference to Hanoi for the first time. This is not just a conference, it’s also an opportunity to network for representatives from golf courses, resorts and industry partners.
“Vietnam is becoming one of the most dynamic golf markets in Asia, driving the need for golf courses to connect with the right partners, stay updated on trends, and learn from international experience.”
A leading golf industry media company in Vietnam with nearly 20 years of experience, VGL has consistently supported the development of golf courses, businesses and the golfing community nationwide.
Passionate about advancing golf tourism and industry collaboration, Yen continues to champion Vietnam as one of Asia’s fastest-growing golf destinations and advocates for technology in golf, promoting trends like screen golf to engage younger audiences and boost the sport’s appeal.

A respected industry leader, Yen (pictured left) has played a significant role in connecting golf clubs, tourism stakeholders, and businesses through high-profile publications, events, and the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards.
She said: “We’re pleased also that the Conference is taking place alongside the Vietnam Golf & Leisure Awards 2026, marking 12 years of awards, honouring golf courses, resorts, businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to the Vietnamese golf industry.”
The Vietnam Golf Industry Conference 2026 is supported by The R&A with the Vietnam Golf Association as Supporting Partner and Grand Plaza Hanoi as Official Hotel.
