Singapore: Tan Chong Huat, a senior figure at the ASEAN Golf Federation (AGF) and Singapore Golf Association (SGA), has been bestowed with the Asia-Pacific Leadership Impact Award – Sports Industry 2025-2026 at the ASIA PACIFIC BUSINESS AWARDS 2025-2026.

Under Tan’s chairmanship, the AGF has strengthened regional co-operation and raised the profile of golf throughout Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, his concurrent leadership at the SGA, where he is President, has driven grass-roots development, improved financial governance and elevated Singapore’s standing on the international golfing stage.

Under the auspices of APAC BUSINESS, the Leadership Impact Award was created to honour leaders who have demonstrated exceptional influence, strategic foresight, and transformative contributions within their respective industries.

Tan said: “I am deeply honoured to receive the Asia Pacific Leadership Impact Award. This recognition is not a personal achievement, but a reflection of the collective efforts and dedication of many individuals who have contributed to the growth of golf across Singapore and ASEAN.

“I remain committed to ensuring the game continues to thrive and create opportunities for future generations.”
