High-Powered Panel at AGIF Conference

Bangkok, Thailand: Robinswood Golf Club executives will be in the spotlight at next month’s Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) Club & Turf Management Conference.

A lifestyle development combining residential living, landscaped communal spaces, wellness and sporting amenities, a community retail hub and the worldwide accredited KIS International School, Robinswood Golf Club is located within the 2,000-rai Reignwood Park development in Lam Luk Ka, greater Bangkok.

The club will welcome global experts in club management, turf science, course design and golf technology for the AGIF-organised conference on May 26.

Following an opening address from AGIF President Chris Gray, Robinswood Golf Club General Manager Seehachet ‘Pro It’ Saifon will deliver an overview of the venue that staged the Reignwood Icons of Football in February.

Pro It will then be joined by Stuart Daly, COO at Reignwood Park Thailand, Kenny Mackay, Director of Golf Course and Grounds at Wentworth and Robinswood Golf Courses, and Joe Marshall, Director of Instruction at the Claude Harmon 2 Academy at Robinswood Golf Course, for a panel discussion covering the entire scope of the complex.

Among other confirmed speakers at the Conference are David Lunardelli (Director of Agronomy & Operations Asia-Pacific at Troon, and 59club Asia’s Chris Geraghty.

On the club management side, among the golf club General Managers who have confirmed their attendance are Adam Calver (Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club), Ian Roberts (Singapore Island Country Club) and Dean Nelson (Hong Kong’s Plover Cove Golf Club).  

Golf course architect Jason Winter (Parslow & Winter Golf Design) will also be present along with Flagstick President Martin Moore and Steven Harris, Regional Manager at Jebsen & Jessen Technology Turf & Irrigation.

Other companies that will be represented include Campey Turf Care Systems (Nick Brown), Golf Caddies (Catalina Tapia) and Absolute Golf Services (Araya Singhsuwan and Simon Mees).
