
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC), Sime Darby Property Berhad’s Flagship Property of its Leisure assets portfolio, has formalised its strategic partnership with Jebsen & Jessen (J&J) Malaysia Sdn Bhd with the signing of a five-year Partners in Excellence Agreement.
Valued at approximately RM30 million, the collaboration with Jebsen & Jessen reflects KLGCC’s commitment to consistently advancing the quality of its 36-hole venue through smart, sustainable and sophisticated technologies.
The partnership brings together KLGCC’s reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s most prestigious golfing and luxury lifestyle destinations and Jebsen & Jessen’s proven leadership in delivering high-performance turf and irrigation solutions across the region.
The signing between Philipp Hoffmann, Managing Director, Jebsen & Jessen Turf & Irrigation, and Adam Calver, General Manager of Leisure, was witnessed by Tun Musa Hitam, KLGCC Club President; Datuk Syed Tamim Ansari Syed Mohamed, KLGCC Club Captain; Gareth Knight, Senior Sales Manager, Southeast Asia with Toro, and Sarina Shafiee, General Manager of Jebsen & Jessen Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Members of Sime Darby Property’s senior management, along with KLGCC officials, members, and invited guests, attended the event to mark this significant milestone.
KLGCC will see operational excellence further enhanced through Jebsen & Jessen’s phased upgrading programme, comprising modern Toro turf equipment and Toro’s advanced irrigation systems, supported by data-driven technologies such as moisture mapping and precision water management tools. These initiatives will enable the award-winning club to deliver consistently high playing standards across both its East and West courses, while improving resource efficiency and supporting long-term sustainability objectives.

Jebsen and Jessen Technology – Turf & Irrigation is the primary distributor and service provider for Toro products in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. In addition to golf courses, the company provides comprehensive solutions for parks and stadium management.
Beyond equipment deployment, the partnership is designed to support long-term capability building, including joint training initiatives and opportunities to leverage new innovations as course management practices evolve over time.
It is anticipated that the partnership over its six-year term will reinforce KLGCC’s world-class position and Sime Darby Property’s continued emphasis on quality, resilience and responsible stewardship across its leisure developments.
