New Clark City, Philippines: Hann Reserve has announced the appointment of experienced golf management professional Clément Rousseau as its new Director of Golf.

Part of IMG’s golf management portfolio, Hann Reserve will see three courses built in New Clark City, creating one of the world’s most eagerly-anticipated new golf destinations.

Rousseau’s appointment comes just months ahead of the first of these new layouts being opened to the public, with the first 18-hole slated for an early 2026 launch. The Dragons Landing, crafted by Nicklaus Design, precedes routings designed by Sir Nick Faldo and KJ Choi.

In addition to the three courses, Hann Reserve is also set to open a myriad of hotel options from some of the world’s most high-profile operators, as well as casinos, retail spaces, and an international educational facility.

This will not be the first time that Rousseau has worked at an IMG venue, having been part of the team at Michlifen Golf & Resort in Ifrane, Morocco – recently voted as the best golf resort in Africa. He will be charged with overseeing the entire golf operation alongside IMG and Tim Neil, who was announced this year as Hann Reserve’s first General Manager.

Of his appointment, Rousseau said: “I’m very excited to be back with the IMG family and in Southeast Asia, where the golf culture is truly fascinating. Hann Reserve is an incredible project, and I’m honoured to contribute to this new chapter of golf in the Philippines.”

Neil added: “In Clement, I’m delighted that we’ve found an excellent golf operator that will ensure a best-in-class golf offering here at Hann Reserve. His past success in working with some of the biggest properties across Europe, North Africa, and Southeast Asia mean that he is extremely well-equipped to attract golfers from across the globe to our property, with Clement set to be a key part of shaping the future of golf here at Hann Reserve”.
