Danang, Vietnam: Smartscore Global underscored its reputation as a key industry player during the 11th Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC).

A Korean company founded in 2015, Smartscore Global enjoys over 75 per cent penetration of Korean golf courses and reaches more than 3.4 million golfers in the Land of the Morning Calm.

Over the past three years, the company has expanded rapidly across the region, its offerings integrating seamlessly into golf clubs in Southeast Asia with a presence in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

“During the AGTC in Danang, we were very happy to be catching up with golf industry leaders from around the globe,” said Yeom In-wook, Chief Executive Officer, Smartscore Global, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

He added: “At Smartscore, every conversation is a powerful reminder that while golf is our common ground, it’s the shared vision that truly connects us.

“Over the past few days, we’ve had the pleasure of exchanging ideas across a wide range of topics – from digital transformation on the course, to shifts in global tourism trends, to the exciting (and sometimes challenging) future ahead of us.

“It’s not just about technology. It’s about people, passion, and partnership, because innovation doesn’t happen in isolation – it thrives when ideas meet across cultures, borders, and perspectives.

“We’re proud to be a part of this global dialogue, and even prouder to support the evolution of the golf experience, for players, operators, and the entire eco-system.”
