Minnesota, United States: Toro has revealed its new Lynx Drive, a reimagined approach to a proven platform with an innovative, energised design tailored specifically to the needs of golf course superintendents.

“We’ve been working with selected sites to test Lynx Drive and monitoring their experience,” said John Dalman, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Toro, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

“It’s been exciting to work with superintendents to better understand the benefits of Lynx Drive and optimise the technology based on real use,” he added.

Launching in 2025, Lynx Drive is setting the standard for innovative irrigation management systems. Using Lynx Drive ensures superintendents and their teams are informed about what is happening at all times.

For example, flags pinpoint an issue report and associate it with the corresponding station, highlighting the area of the map to ensure adjustments are always made in the correct spot. All alerts are visible to the entire crew for quick, co-ordinated action.

An expanded, highly detailed mapping feature allows information to be shared through mobile and desktop programmes for easy collaboration and effortless communication within the team every day.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Toro as their products and innovation are key to helping us maintain our revolutionary, reversible courses,” said Kyle Macdonald, Superintendent at Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta.

“With the best products available for irrigation management, we’re confident that we can continue providing an exceptional experience at Bobby Jones Golf Course for our patrons,” added Macdonald.
