Singapore: Nguyen Thuy Long, General Manager of Turf & Irrigation at Jebsen & Jessen (Vietnam) Company Ltd, has been co-opted to the Board of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).

Long brings with him more than three decades of experience in sales, distribution and marketing across various industries, with 12 of those years dedicated to the golf sector.

A proven leader in driving dynamic teams in high-growth, competitive markets, Long will provide valuable insights to support AGIF’s mission of advancing the golf industry across Asia.

On his appointment, Long said: “As an open platform to support the industry and bring it to higher levels, AGIF can have a huge influence in shaping the future of golf in Asia.”

Long also expressed a commitment to enhancing supplier perspectives to better serve the golf community, particularly greenkeepers in regions where AGIF is active.

With extensive Board experience, including roles with joint ventures and local companies, Long is well-prepared to contribute from the outset.

“We’re delighted to welcome Long to the Federation’s Board. He is a widely respected individual and we anticipate his knowledge and expertise will prove invaluable as we look to implement some exciting new plans in 2025,” said AGIF President Chris Gray.
