Singapore: Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF) President Chris Gray will deliver a keynote address at next week’s Asia Golf Convention.
The second edition of the Convention is being held at the Singapore Island Country Club on the afternoon of December 4.
Head of Sustainable Golf and Agronomy, Asia-Pacific at The R&A, Gray will make a presentation on The R&A’s Golf Course 2030 initiative.
Organised by VRSE Asia and the Singapore Golf Association (SGA), the Asia Golf Convention – held as part of the SGA Golf Week – welcomes leading professionals to share their insights on wide-ranging topics from women in golf to technology, anti-doping and health.
Also among the speakers are Bones Floro, Board Member and Chairman of Championship Committee at the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC), the region’s ruling amateur body, and Eric Lynge, Head of Sporting Insights Asia, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“We are excited with the return of the Asia Golf Convention. The inaugural event last year attracted a near-capacity crowd and we are looking forward to welcoming many of our friends from the golf industry to the Convention again,” said Joshua Ho, General Manager of the SGA, an Associate Business Member of the AGIF.
“The Asia Golf Convention is a highlight of the SGA Golf Week, which aims to bring the community and stakeholders together during a week of strategic and professional discussion, awards and recognition, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities,” added Ho.
The Asia Golf Convention is supported by the Asian Golf Industry Federation, the ASEAN Golf Federation, the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation and The R&A.
