Inventors Spotlight in Centre Stage

Frisco, Texas, United States: Inventors of new golf training and teaching aids, accessories and equipment will be able to gauge the interest of thousands of attending PGA of America Golf Professionals, golf industry leaders and media from around the world at the Inventors Spotlight Exhibit Pavilion during this month’s PGA Show.

Organised in partnership with the United Inventors Association (UIA), the Inventors Spotlight on the PGA Show Floor at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando (January 24-26) will showcase new golf and golf lifestyle-related products developed by independent inventors at some 40 pavilion exhibits.

In addition to the business networking opportunity provided by the PGA Show, Inventors Spotlight exhibitors also participate in the UIA Awards Programme, where their products are reviewed and top inventions are presented with one of three awards – Most Innovative Concept, Best Marketing, and the Pinnacle Award (Best in Show) – on January 25.

Judging will be conducted by UIA experts, who will be in attendance throughout the PGA Show to answer questions associated with taking an idea to the development, patenting, production and product distribution stages.

In addition to complimentary one-to-one inventor counselling by the United Inventors Association, inventors can take advantage of valuable programming organised by the UIA on the Inventors Spotlight stage.

“In working with the United Inventors Association, we are pleased to provide a PGA Show platform for inventors to introduce and demonstrate their golf-related innovations, receive complimentary and valuable guidance from the experts of the UIA, while networking with golf industry leaders and potentially securing new points of retail distribution,” said PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President Marc Simon

“The Inventors Spotlight is a golf invention showcase unlike any other in the golf industry, and a favourite stop on the PGA Show Floor for industry influencers and product development experts,” added Simon.

The PGA Show, organised by the PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, will reunite the golf industry for the 71st edition of golf’s longest running and largest global business gathering.

Thousands of PGA of America Golf Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives and retailers from around the world will come together to source new products from nearly 1,000 golf and golf lifestyle brands, attend high-level industry presentations, participate in education and career workshops and connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive continued growth of the sport and the business of golf.

The PGA Show begins on January 23 with the PGA Show Demo Day at Orange County National Golf Centre and moves to the Orange County Convention Centre from January 24-26 for exhibits and a full schedule of industry events.
