Augusta, Georgia, United States: Club Car, a global industry-leading manufacturer of small-wheel, zero emissions vehicles, has shared highlights of an exciting week showcasing its innovative collection of golf and utility cars and engaging with the golf community at the 2024 PGA Show.
“This week was great for the Club Car team to spend time with our long-standing customers and meet new customers,” said Mark Wagner, President and CEO at Club Car, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“The energy in our booth carried through the entire show and all our customer special events. These relationships matter most to us,” added Wagner.
Club Car hosted a Sip and See to show off its new workhorse, the Club Car Urban, to new and existing customers.
A Club Car spokesperson said: “The positive feedback about the versatility of the Urban as a vehicle with truck-like capabilities with automotive-grade safety features and low operational costs was great to hear.
“Our long partnership as the official car of the PGA of America, the PGA Championship and Worldwide supplier of the Ryder Cup enhanced Club Car’s engagement throughout the 2024 PGA Show.”
Wagner joined a panel in the 2024 PGA Show Golf Leadership Summit – Strategies for Economic Success with Sustainable Practices. As a panellist, Wagner shared insight into how Club Car is helping business, university and government leaders achieve their sustainability goals, and the work Club Car is doing to impact its own sustainability strategy.
PGA of America Works Fellows visited the booth to connect with a few members of Club Car’s Senior Leadership Team for a golf careers Q&A session.
PGA of America hosted a Workforce Development Meeting and Club Car Chief Human Resources Officer Kirsten Patchett joined as a participant in the speed dating session highlighting career options and opportunities in golf.
New this year, Club Car invited registered media partners of the 2024 PGA Show for Ask the Expert Media Sessions with the Tempo and Tempo Walk, Club Car Urban, CRU and Onward, Carryall, and Club Car Connect.
Club Car customers enjoyed visiting with the team from Fore Athletes and hosted NFL Quarterback Josh Dobbs, Evan Engram, Mike Davis, Marcus Jones and Allen Chaney for a special event at TopGolf. The Fore Athletes team and players also greeted friends and fans at the Club Car booth during the show.
To highlight the new Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Programme, Club Car hosted National Professional Fishing Tour Angler and Club Car Brand Ambassador Darrell Davis, who signed autographs and took pictures with booth visitors in the head-turning CRU vehicle.
Other highlights of the 2024 PGA Show included a visit with National Club Association President and CEO Joe Trauger and Club Car accepting the award from Golf Cart Resource as Best Golf Car for the Course.
Club Car closed out the week with the Club Car Urban featured during the Friday morning PGA Show segment on the Golf Channel broadcast.
