Danang, Vietnam: Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC) linchpin Laguna Golf Lang Co has been ranked among the cream of the region’s golf resorts.

The Asian Golf Industry Federation Facility member was named among the top 11 best golf resorts in Asia by golf.com.

The listing encompassed top golf destinations in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand as well as Laguna Golf Lang Co and Ba Na Hills Golf Club, from Central Vietnam.

Their inclusion in the Asia list also guaranteed them spots in the overall Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World standings.

Writers at golf.com praised the variety of landscapes incorporated by Sir Nick Faldo into his Signature Design at Laguna Golf Lang Co. The course is sandwiched between the ocean and jungle-clad mountains, offering golfers a range of challenges.

“You’ll walk away from Laguna Golf Lang Co and realise it’s unlike any course you’ve ever played – perhaps the best compliment a golf course can receive,” reported golf.com.

The VGC – a destination marketing organisation that links Central Vietnam’s best signature golf layouts – has enjoyed a red-letter year as golf travel to the region rebounds with interest following the pandemic.

The latest honour to Laguna Golf Lango Co and Ba Na Hills offers wider recognition of how the destination is marrying world-class golf with vibrant cities, incredible beaches, and accommodations as well as an enviable infrastructure.

“Having two Top 100 Resorts in one golf destination is a true testament to the calibre of golf in Central Vietnam,” said Adam Calver, Director of Golf and Marketing at Laguna Lang Co, where the Faldo Design course is complemented by award-winning accommodation from Banyan Tree Lang Co and Angsana Lang Co.

“And with numerous other great courses in this region, as well as Laguna Golf Lang Co and Ba Na Hills, it’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the quality of golf offerings in the Vietnam Golf Coast,” added Calver.
