Walldorf, Germany: John Deere has appointed Brian D’Arcy as Global Manager, Growth & Strategy, Golf & Sports Turf.

In this newly expanded role that became effective on August 1, D’Arcy will lead global growth, market development, strategic planning, and commercial initiatives across key international regions, including Asia.

Working closely with the regional team, distribution partners, and customers, he will focus on strengthening market share, accelerating business growth, and advancing John Deere’s leadership position within the Golf & Sports Turf industry.

D’Arcy brings nearly two decades of experience with John Deere and a proven track record of delivering business growth across sales, marketing, product management, and strategic account leadership.

Since joining the company in 2007, he has held a series of increasingly responsible positions throughout Europe, including Territory Manager, Strategic Account Manager, Product Manager, Division Sales Manager for Turf, and most recently Director & Division Sales Manager for Agriculture in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

A graduate of the Tralee Institute of Technology in Ireland with a degree in Agricultural Engineering Management, D’Arcy combines deep industry expertise with extensive international business experience. Throughout his career, he has been recognised for building strong customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and driving sustainable growth across diverse regions and customer segments.
