Singapore: The growing influence of women in business was highlighted during the opening leg of the 2023 Aramco Team Series presented by Public Investment Fund – Singapore at Laguna National Golf Resort Club.

While world number one Lydia Ko was climbing the leaderboard on the Masters Course in the second round of the 54-hole event, four other prominent females were also to the fore at the Singapore venue that’s a Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

Featuring a quartet of inspirational businesswomen, the forum continued a tradition of hosting a women’s discussion panel at each Aramco Team Series event around the world.

“Each of the Women in Business panel discussions are themed to drive conversation and, in turn, bring positive change and progression,” said a spokesperson for the organisers.

The discussion at Laguna National provided a platform to explore the developments being made and acknowledge the opportunities that women are striving for within business.

The panellists were:

  • Dr Jay-Lee Nair, Doctor in Sports Psychology and a former semi-pro golfer.
  • Marwa Al-Khuzaim, Managing Director, Aramco Asia Singapore.
  • Sinead McEvoy, Head of Events & Partnerships, AON.
  • Vicky Jones, Managing Director – Asia Pacific, Performance54.

Following the panel discussion, which was moderated by Kate Burton, was an open question-and-answer segment with the invited audience and a networking session.
