Alexandria, Virginia, United States: The Club Management Association of America (CMAA) has announced the availability of general registration for its 2023 World Conference and Club Business Expo.
The event will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Centre in Orlando from February 24-28.
CMAA’s World Conference offers robust professional development, providing inspiration for club management professionals on their career and leadership journey and insights into current challenges.
With access to stellar business and industry experts, networking opportunities, interactive forums, and the latest innovations at the Club Business Expo, the club industry’s largest annual gathering is the only event focused on the business of running a club.
Six General Sessions will be offered and showcase leading and inspirational professionals including the ‘Iron Man’ of baseball Cap Ripken Jr; digital leader, author of Socialnomics, professor, and entrepreneur Erik Qualman; CEO of ExecuPrep and four-time TEDx Speaker Dethra Giles; ‘Warrior Storyteller’ retired Lieutenant Colonel Scott Mann; The Employee Whisperer Heather Younger; and renowned chef Dominique Crenn.
Further, more than 65 concurrent sessions will be presented by industry and business experts and explore the complex challenges facing today’s club management professionals
On February 26-27, the Club Business Expo will provide an opportunity to explore products and services offered by more than 200 companies showcasing industry leading trends and innovations. Attendees can source and secure solutions for their evolving club needs and meet face-to-face to discuss potential purchases.
The World Conference also brings together more than 250 hospitality students from universities around the United States. Through the Career Opportunities and Networking Showcase, the next generation of club industry leaders can network with current professionals, seek internship opportunities, and more.
Additionally, attendees can spark new ideas and insights for their clubs through the Idea Fair. Clubs submit their best ideas across 20 different operational categories.
