Cannon Falls, Minnesota, United States: Suståne Natural Fertilizer, Inc, a founding member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF), has announced the appointment of Greencare Services Sdn Bhd, Malaysia and Greencare Resources Pte Ltd Singapore, and the Kingdom of Brunei as sole authorised distributor.

Henry Ng, Regional Malaysia Asia with Suståne and a Board Member of the AGIF, said: “We are delighted to be able to set up the strategic appointment of Greencare Services, which already maintains the drive towards a proactive and customer-centric business approach in these three countries.

“Greencare serves the golf course and sports field industries as well as the landscape and greenhouse-nursery sectors. We at Suståne also wish to record our thanks and appreciation to former long-term partners Golden Domes Sdn Bhd of Malaysia and RC McIntyre Pte Ltd of Singapore for their business and support over the past many years.”

Francis Chan, Director of Greencare Services and Greencare Resources, said: “We are extremely excited to have been chosen to represent and distribute Suståne products in the region.

“As our firm is involved in golf course, sports turf and landscape maintenance, we are confident Suståne’s organic and natural-based products are the best fit to produce quality turf and landscape with care for protecting the environment, and achieving sustainability.

“We are also fortunate that Suståne has a strong representative and customer service ‘right at our doorstep’ with Henry’s presence in Malaysia as his home base.”

In line with the new appointment, Suståne will bring in additional formulations to these countries offering more options for golf course superintendents to design fertility regimes based on turf species and the climatic environment of their facility.

Suståne’s organic and natural based slow-release fertilisers are manufactured from natural renewable agricultural resources with a low carbon footprint at US Environmental Protection Agency-approved facilities, producing environmentally friendly products with minimal nutrient loss and optimum plant uptake.
