Troon Support for Ukraine Humanitarian Relief

Fitzpatrick Open Championship GolfBag low

Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: US Open champion and Team Troon member Matt Fitzpatrick and Troon have partnered on a fund-raising effort in support of Ukraine humanitarian relief.

Fans who donate to the World Health Organisation (WHO) Foundation between now and July 31 via the Troon website (www.troon.com/win-matt-fitzpatricks-open-championship-bag) or by scanning the QR code on Fitzpatrick’s golf bag to be used at the 150th Open Championship, will be entered to win a prize package from Fitzpatrick, Troon and Troon International that includes:

  • Fitzpatrick’s Ukraine-themed, blue and yellow golf bag used at the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews this week and autographed by the reigning US Open champion.
  • US$500 in golf credit on Troon International App.
  • A Troon Executive Card or National Troon Card (if the winner is from the US).

After a donation is made, the donor will be prompted to enter their name and email address for an entry into the drawing for the prize package. The winner of the prize package will be notified via email on August 1.

Donations made through the WHO Foundation will go directly to deliver urgent healthcare to people across Ukraine and refugees in neighbouring countries affected by the crisis.

Thanks to the vital support of donors, WHO has so far delivered 398 metric tons of medical supplies and equipment to Ukraine, including emergency surgical and trauma kits, serving 650,000 people since the start of the conflict.

Urgent support is still needed to continue to respond to the growing needs of the population in this evolving humanitarian health crisis.

Team Troon is a collection of top international golf talent representing the Troon brand throughout professional golf.

Fitzpatrick is joined on Team Troon by PGA Tour golfers Justin Thomas, Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson of the United States, Alex Noren of Sweden, PGA Tour Champions golfer and World Golf Hall of Famer Colin Montgomerie of Scotland, LPGA Tour/Ladies European Tour player Cheyenne Woods and LPGA golfer Yealimi Noh.

Fitzpatrick’s Ukraine-inspired golf bag features blue panels with yellow trimming and stitching, the message ‘Stand With Ukraine’, the Troon logo embroidered on the pockets, and QR codes that direct fans to the WHO Foundation’s donation page.
