Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: LPGA Tour golfer Yealimi Noh has joined Team Troon – a collection of top international golf talent representing the Troon brand throughout professional golf.
Noh is joined on Team Troon by PGA Tour golfers Justin Thomas, Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson of the United States, Matthew Fitzpatrick of England, Alex Noren of Sweden, PGA Tour Champions golfer and World Golf Hall of Famer Colin Montgomerie of Scotland, and LPGA Tour/Ladies European Tour player Cheyenne Woods.
The Troon logo has a presence on each golfer’s golf bag, while Woods and Fitzpatrick carry full Troon-branded golf bags embroidered on the pockets.
Noh was born in San Francisco, California in 2001 and enjoyed a decorated amateur career, winning the 2014 and 2018 California Girls Championship. She turned pro in 2019 and qualified for the 2020 LPGA Tour season after finishing third in qualifying school.
Noh is currently ranked 60th in the Rolex Rankings and was the only rookie to play on Team USA at the Solheim Cup last season.
Noh recently unveiled her new Troon-branded golf bag at the Bank of Hope LPGA-Match Play event in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will carry it throughout the 2022-23 season.
“We are excited to welcome Yealimi, a rising star on the LPGA Tour, to Team Troon,” said Tim Schantz, President and CEO at Troon, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
“She already has eight top-10s in her young career, has a growing and engaging social footprint and has a bright future in the game. As such, we are excited to collaborate with Yealimi and support her moving forward.”
As part of being on Team Troon, Noh will collaborate on social/digital media campaigns in co-operation with Troon and Troon-managed facilities around the world and take part in select Troon-sponsored events.
“I am honoured to join Team Troon alongside some of the best golfers in the world,” said Noh. “I have been lucky to play at many Troon properties and am excited to now be an ambassador for Troon, representing the brand as I play a global schedule on the LPGA.”
Troon is the world’s largest golf and golf-related hospitality management company providing services at more than 680 locations around the globe, including 665-plus 18-hole equivalent golf courses.
