Orlando, Florida, United States: The 2022 PGA Show, traditionally the largest annual gathering of the international golf business community, is evolving alongside the golf industry, and attendees will experience a renewed event as they come together from January 25-28, for the first time in two years.
Leading the list of changes is the implementation of robust health and safety standards based on CDC guidelines, local public health guidance and host venue protocols to help support a responsible industry gathering and comfortable event experience.
News and guidance regarding Covid-19 are being closely monitored and health and safety guidelines are updated regularly. The most upto-date information about evolving health and safety protocols is posted to PGAShow.com.
The PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, partners in organising the PGA Show, have used the last 24 months to re-imagine aspects of the event and invest in new programming.
While sourcing new innovative products and services from more than 600 participating brands remains at the forefront, PGA Professionals and industry executives also will be able to learn valuable business solutions unique to the current climate during industry presentations, education sessions, PGA Member workshops and networking events with industry leaders and peers from across the country.
“After two years apart, it is imperative for the industry to come back together and network, share business ideas and review new best practices to keep golf’s positive momentum going at every level,” said Jim Richerson, President of the PGA of America, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
He added: “There is an especially heightened value in collaboration and finding better ways of doing business, while taking the necessary precautions. The 2022 PGA Show will be a welcome reunion for our PGA membership, and we look forward to engaging with and supporting our PGA Partners and the hundreds of participating companies who are committed to helping PGA Professionals advance their business objectives.”
PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President Marc Simon said: “PGA Professionals and buyers have expressed a pent-up demand for sourcing merchandise and services and miss the in-person experience with products and company leadership.
“There is a desire to return to peer networking and solutions-based programming to leverage the rising consumer interest and navigate the related challenges our industry faces.
“The 2022 PGA Show will look different from previous events but will be a welcome return to connecting in-person with peers and industry leaders and can be a bridge to help our industry adapt and move forward in 2022 and beyond.”
