Singapore: Award-winning golf course architect Sir Nick Faldo will share his thoughts on golf course design in the latest episode in the Asian Golf Industry Federation’s (AGIF) Sustainability Series of webinars.

To be broadcast at 8 pm (Singapore time) on Thursday (April 22), the webinar will feature a 45-minute interview with Sir Nick by Spencer Robinson, the AGIF’s Chief Communications Officer, during which the six-time Major champion reveals his forthright views on a variety of topics related to golf course design and sustainability.

Following the taped interview, there will be a live Q&A with Mark Adams, Faldo Design Representative – Asia Pacific, Middle East and USA, and Adam Calver, Director of Golf at Vietnam’s Laguna Lang Co, Faldo’s first Signature Design and venue for the annual Faldo Series Asia Grand Final.

Adams and Calver will answer questions on Faldo Design’s philosophies and the company’s activities in Asia.

The Faldo Design company has more than 30 projects completed or in development around the globe.

Faldo Design’s Asian portfolio includes a trio of China courses, at Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen, Lakeview in Kunming and Beijing’s Honghua International Golf Resort, a past venue for the Volvo China Open.

An Associate Business Member of the AGIF, Faldo Design has also sculpted acclaimed courses in Cambodia (Angkor Golf Resort), the Philippines (Eagle Ridge Golf Club) and Vietnam (Laguna Lang Co).

The company’s newest Asian project is the 36-hole Vattanac Golf Resort in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
