Singapore: Laguna National Golf & Country Club’s reputation as one of Asia’s premier golfing facilities has been enhanced with the unveiling of its eagerly-anticipated new clubhouse.

During this week’s soft launch opening, members and guests had access to the Golf Lobby, The Shop retail outlet, Golfers’ Lounge and changing rooms.

“With the soft opening of the clubhouse, we are embarking on an exciting new era for the club,” said Mark Isley, General Manager at Laguna National, a Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

The clubhouse is part of a multi-million-dollar transformation at the Singapore club which also features two award-winning 18-hole courses, the Masters and the Classic.

“Regarding the new clubhouse, the initial feedback from members has been exceptionally upbeat and positive. We thank our members for the patience and support they have shown during the construction process. Now they are able to start enjoying the world-class golf experience that is being delivered,” he added.

Located 10 minutes from Changi International Airport and 15 minutes from the Central Business District, Laguna National is also home to a newly-opened five-star luxury urban resort, Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore – Dusit International’s first property in Singapore.

Isley said: “With the debut of Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, our members can also look forward to an additional set of social and recreation privileges.”

In addition to three swimming pools, three tennis courts, a gym with state-of-the-art equipment and a fitness studio, Laguna National members will also have access to the Thai-inspired Devarana Spa.

Also coming on line will be Laguna Putting powered by Nicklaus Design, a unique addition to the local golfing scene – a nine-hole putting course spanning 600 square metres. The course sits on premium grade synthetic turf, complete with the look, feel and bite of natural grass.
