Hungarian Resort Adds Luxury Wellness Centre

The new Wellness Centre at Zala Springs Golf Resort.

Budapest, Hungary: A luxurious new Wellness Centre & Spa is soon to open at Zala Springs Golf Resort. Part of the IMG Prestige network, the Hungarian venue will now be able to offer a holistic well-being experience to residents, golf members and guests visiting the Resort.

Designed by award-winning studio and Budapest-based Archikon Architects, the Wellness Centre will include an authentic Finnish sauna, outdoor and indoor pools, beauty centre and a health-conscious bar. The essence of the concept was focused on exclusivity, offering a private and premium experience to anyone visiting the property.

Featuring a Robert Trent Jones Jr-designed course and distinctive modern clubhouse, the Resort enjoys an enviable location, lying within a two-hour drive of four iconic European cities – Budapest, Vienna, Zagreb and Ljubljana. It’s also within 20 minutes of Lake Balaton, Central Europe’s largest lake and a paradise for sunseekers and water sports enthusiasts.

Accommodation is provided in the form of 32 luxurious apartments and penthouse suites.

“The Wellness Centre is a fantastic addition to Zala Springs Golf Resort and will provide an exceptional benefit to both golfers and Resort guests alike. Zala Springs was already regarded as one of Europe’s great new golfing destinations, and this new offering will provide even more reason to visit this very special place,” said Russell Hannah, Senior Director, IMG Golf Course Services, an Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.

Tamas Benkocs, CEO, Zala Springs Golf Resort, said: “Our vision is to welcome international guests to the Resort throughout the year and I am extremely confident that the Wellness Centre will be another major step for us to achieve that.

“It will offer an unforgettable well-being experience not only to our residents and golf members, but also to any international visitor staying with us.”
