Markham, Ontario, Canada: Jonas Club Software has announced the release of new enhancements to its popular Online Ordering application.
In response to the industry shutdown due to Covid-19, Jonas offered Online Ordering to its clients at no charge so that clubs could continue providing food and beverage for pick-up, delivery and takeout. More than 200 clubs implemented the application.
Online Ordering from Jonas Club Software allows members to place orders from their club’s food and beverage and retail outlets directly from a club’s website or mobile app.
“Online Ordering was released in 2019 and filled an immediate need for many of our clients. With the new circumstances brought on by Covid-19, demand grew exponentially and we have made significant enhancements to Online Ordering and our other booking applications to meet the new challenges faced by clubs so that they can continue to thrive,” said Trevor Coughlan, Vice President, Marketing at Jonas Club Software, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
In its latest release, Online Ordering has added the ability for members to Order Ahead; place orders for a future day and time. This allows clubs to plan and prepare in advance for peak times, such as weekends and holidays.
The platform will also allow members to select a delivery address from their member account or input a new address for delivery, printing the location on the order’s chit.
Members can also now place two new order types, Curbside Pick-Up and On Premise, in addition to the options of To Go, Pick-Up, Eat-In and Delivery.
Curbside Pick-Up is ideal for clubs offering meals to-go or pro shop orders. On Premise orders are ideal for poolside or on course ordering where a staff member will deliver the order to a location on the club’s property.
