Singapore: Seemingly, it’s not only football at which Harry Kane excels. During a break in pre-season training in Singapore, the England captain visited Urban Fairways’ indoor facility.
“Harry enjoyed four hours of play at Urban Fairways in a private bay, showcasing his skills off the field among his group,” said Urban Fairways Founder Dilip Ghosh. “Judging from the screams and laughter, it was a tight game.”
Clearly the experience paid off for Kane, an avid golfer who took up the game when aged 18 and now plays to a handicap of four.
Less than 24 hours after his golfing getaway, Kane spearheaded a 3-2 win for Tottenham against Juventus at Singapore’s National Stadium.
Replicating the accuracy of his drives and iron shots from the evening before, Kane (pictured with Ghosh and Prameet Parikh) had the distinction of striking the winning goal from the half-way line in injury-time.
