Orlando, United States: Bunker liner manufacturer Capillary Concrete will host an event featuring Swedish professional golf legend – and company shareholder – Annika Sorenstam at next week’s PGA Show.

Entitled ‘On the Beach with Annika Sorenstam: stories and education on bunker playability’, the event will include a question and answer session with the Swede, and will cover why she decided to invest in Capillary Concrete, how she feels bunkers should be presented and many other issues.

Entrance to the event, which takes place on Wednesday, January 23 in Room 103 at the Orange County Convention Centre, the show venue, between 10.45 am and 11.45 am, session W107, is free for PGA Show attendees.

The Capillary Concrete team can also be found on the trade show floor at booth number 3801.

An Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, Capillary Concrete is a patented sports-base drainage and sub-surface irrigation material.

It is strong, environmentally sound and easy to mix and install. It has the ability to drain enormous amounts of water and store them for a slow and later release, still keeping a minimum level of moisture by the scientific principle of capillary action, which is the ability of a liquid to flow in narrow spaces, in opposition to the gravitational force.

Developed by Martin Sternberg, a Swedish golf professional, course superintendent and entrepreneur, Capillary Concrete has been installed on over 400 golf courses around the world.
