GOLFTEC Opens New State-of-the-Art Training Centre

GOLFTEC has almost 200 centres internationally.

Scottsdale, Arizona, United States: GOLFTEC – the world leader in golf lessons and premium club fittings – has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art performance centre in North Scottsdale, its fourth in the metro area.
The North Pima Road facility is 2,400 square feet and has four teaching/practice bays staffed by highly-trained coaches. These individuals leverage GOLFTEC’s world-renowned teaching technology – including advanced motion measurement, video analysis and premium launch monitors – to help any student find the lesson plan best suited for their unique needs.
GOLFTEC students drop an average of seven strokes from their scores.
The North Scottsdale GOLFTEC also features the company’s enhanced TECFIT custom club fitting programme. The Tour-like fitting experience combines swing characteristics with ball flight data to help identify optimal golf equipment for each student.
An array of clubhead/shaft options are available to perfectly match players of any skill level with the clubs that best meet their needs. Nearly 75% of all golfers who experience a TECFIT custom driver fitting gain an average of 25 yards over their previous equipment.
“Scottsdale features one of the largest golf communities in the country and they’re always looking for ways to improve and enjoy the game even more,” said Joe Assell, Co-Founder and CEO of GOLFTEC, an Indoor Golf and Practice Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation. “With all the world-renowned resorts and courses in the area, our industry leading, instruction and club fitting programmes complement them perfectly.”
Dane Olah, North Scottsdale GOLFTEC Centre Manager and Director of Instruction, will oversee operations at the new facility. A PGA Member, Olah has over 10 years of experience with teaching and game improvement in the state of Arizona.
“We’re thrilled to serve the greater Scottsdale area because of how serious it is about golf,” said Olah. “Our staff is comprised of the best Certified Personal Coaches in the region, who look forward to working with beginners and veterans alike.”
The global GOLFTEC coaching team is comprised of experienced instructors, most of whom are PGA Professionals and have taught thousands of lessons. Each goes through a rigorous multi-week certification at GOLFTEC University including continued, advanced training to master the analysis of golf swing mechanics, the technology utilised by GOLFTEC and the most productive teaching techniques.
Committed to strengthening the industry and hiring only the best staff, GOLFTEC is the largest employer of PGA Instructors in the world.
