Toronto, Canada: Pacific Links International (PLI) has welcomed Victor Zhang to its business development team.
Zhang joined PLI in 2013 as the assistant to Du Sha, Chairman of Pacific Links International. For four years, he travelled with Du on all business meetings around the world.
In his role as Vice President, Pacific Links Golf Network (PLGN), Zhang will bring to the team a depth of knowledge regarding the company’s operations, its growth and strategic objectives.
Zhang, who will concentrate on Pacific Links’ initiatives in Europe and Asia, will be based in Toronto. He will work closely with Rudy Anderson, President, and the PLGN team, including Richelle Nemeth, VP Marketing and Administration, Lauren Wright, Director of Member Services, and Kevin Du, Director, Business Development.
In the first three months of 2017, more than 4,000 PLGN members travelled to the prestigious golf clubs in its network.
To date, more than 9,000 Chinese members have been enrolled since the company’s launch in 2013. The aggregated Affiliate and Reciprocal members in the network total nearly 90,000 with participating clubs in 29 countries.
“We are enormously pleased with the pace the Pacific Links Golf Network has grown and our goal is to grow the roster to 1,000 clubs and resorts over the next five years. We warmly welcome Victor’s contribution in this pursuit,” said a spokesperson for PLI, an Executive Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
