Kota Permai’s Magical Treat for Kids

Published on July 10, 2016

KP newShah Alam, Malaysia: Kota Permai Golf and Country Club has played host to 36 under-privileged children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Miskin Klang (PEYAKIN).
The gathering to mark Hari Raya was part of the club’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The children, whose ages ranged between 13 and 17, were treated to a buffet dinner at the Poolside Pavilion followed by a magic show.
In keeping with customary traditions, the children were given packets of ‘duit raya’, handed out by the club’s Group General Manager Tang Meng Loon, Senior Club Manager Sheren Yong and committee members, along with goodie bags.
Since launching its CSR drive in 2008, such charity drives have become a hallmark of Kota Permai, a Golf Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
Meanwhile, at the Botanic Resort Club, 55 needy children from Rumah Amal Anak Yatim YPIN (SG MANGGIS) were treated to a wide array of Ramadhan buffet delights at the Botanic’s Coffee House.
Aged between three and 17, the children were presented with Raya festive goodies and ‘duit raya’ from the management and committee members.
