Fairhaven, United States: The winning ways continued around the globe for Titleist as Pro V1 and Pro V1x players claimed seven titles across the worldwide professional Tours.
Leading the way, Titleist golf ball loyalist Daniel Berger (Pro V1x), playing in his first Sunday final pairing, won the FedEx St. Jude Classic for his maiden PGA Tour title.
On the LPGA Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalist Brooke Henderson (Pro V1) birdied the first hole of a sudden-death play-off to win the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship for her first career Major championship title.
Titleist golf ball loyalist Bernhard Langer (Pro V1) won the Constellation Senior Players Championship for the third consecutive year and at the Rust-Oleum Championship, while Titleist Brand Ambassador Max Homa (Pro V1) came from behind to win his second career Web.com Tour title.
Joining Berger, Henderson, Langer and Homa in the winner’s circle around the globe were Titleist Pro V1x loyalists Dan McCarthy (Golf BC Championship) and Rohan Blizard (Lanhai Open) as well as Titleist Brand Ambassador Lee Sang-yeop (Descente Korea Munsingwear Matchplay).
A total of 111 players in the FedEx St Jude Classic field trusted a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.
Titleist was also the top choice among players in the hybrids category (33) as well as the irons category with 46 sets in play.
Vokey Design Wedges also topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (215) category and Scotty Cameron putters were the top choice among players with 62 putters in play.
Titleist was also the most relied upon golf ball at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship with 112 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than nine times the nearest competitor with 12.
The win was the 10th for Titleist golf ball loyalists on the 2016 LPGA Tour season, five times the nearest competitor with two.
