Hanoi, Vietnam: Award-winning Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club was the venue for the first IMG Trophy to be held in Vietnam.
The event saw 120 Sky Lake members and guests treated to an 18-hole tournament on the Sky Course, which opened in November 2014 and was recently voted Best Championship Course in Vietnam.
Participants played for a host of unique prizes, including IMG branded items and signed golf memorabilia from IMG clients and golf legends.
On course competitions were hosted by club manufacturers Titleist and Cobra with golfers able to win prizes along with the opportunity to trial some of the latest new products.
The day was won by Phung Ngoc Vinh with a gross score of 75. He won air tickets sponsored by Vietnam Airlines.
Sky Lake General Manager Tim Haddon said: “It’s a great branding opportunity for Sky Lake to host the inaugural IMG Trophy in Vietnam. The event was well received by all participants.
“We can’t wait for next year’s IMG Trophy and we thank IMG and diamond sponsor Vietin Bank for their support as well as all contributing sponsors.”
