Birmingham, England: Sports Amenities Landscaping Trade Exhibition [SALTEX] is the venue for the latest addition to the Campey Turf Care Systems range of Vredo overseeders, the award-winning Vredo Sport Series featuring a dual dosage system.
The United Kingdom’s biggest event for the grounds care sector, the 2015 SALTEX will see some 280 exhibitors bring the latest products, equipment and expertise to the NEC Birmingham for two days.
Seen for the first time in the United Kingdom, the Vredo Sport Series Overseeder won the Gold Four Leaf Clover award for the most outstanding innovation in Groen Techniek Holland in Biddinghuizen 2015.
The innovation award was given to Vredo in recognition of the DDS system which allows two seeds (grasses) to be simultaneously planted in one pass. The amount and working depth of both types of seed can be set independently of each other.
Another first for Saltex is the arrival of the Dakota 310 Top Dresser. This compact and manoeuvrable dual spinner pedestrian top dresser can spread up to six metres wide with infinitely variable adjustments via the handlebar mounted controls. Its neat size makes access easier for spreading a variety of materials including sand, rubber crumb and other top dressings.
Also being showcased will be the top-rated machines for renovating and maintaining natural turf sports pitches, including Koro by Imants Field TopMaker with Universe and Terraplane Rotors and a new range of blades called Universe Finesse.
Established products from Imants such as the ShockWave and Rotoknife will sit alongside Votex and the VGR Top Changer, as well as the award-winning Air2G2.
