Shanghai, China: Next month’s HSBC Golf Business Forum agenda has been revealed, with the game’s most influential voices and global innovators confirming their participation in the world’s premier golf business event.
With four weeks until the event at the Pudong Shangri La Hotel in downtown Shanghai, the agenda reads like a Who’s Who of golf industry experts and leaders, along with a compelling list of globally-renowned innovators and thinkers.
Among the latest big hitters to join the action-packed schedule at the two-day gathering are Lei Zhenjian, CEO of LETV Sport, and Dr Arab Hoballah, who will be imparting his expertise on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme, notably with regards to sport and environment, resource efficiency and corporate responsibility.
Highlights on day one include the ‘Guardians of the Game’ session with PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem; European Tour Chief Executive Keith Pelley; LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan; and new Chief Executive of the R&A Martin Slumbers, whilst the co-CEO of WME | IMG, Ari Emanuel, will take part in a one-on-one interview focusing on the changing landscape of sports and entertainment.
Ajaz Ahmed, Founder and CEO of AKQA and the author of Limitless, will deliver a keynote entitled ‘The Five Principles of Leadership That Endure’.
Day two sees Dr Paul Hawkins of Hawkeye Innovations challenging convention, John Solheim, Chairman and CEO of Ping, receiving the Lifetime Achievement award, whilst a leading Tour professional gives delegates an insight into ‘life in the spotlight’.
