Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: For the third consecutive year, Kota Permai Golf & Country Club has clinched the Excellence Award for Best Golf Experience at the Expatriate Lifestyle’s Best of Malaysia Awards 2015.
This year marks a decade since the launch of the Best of Malaysia Awards, Malaysia’s biggest publicly-voted travel awards. The Awards celebrate the finest in the travel and hospitality industry, acknowledging the best of the best, as voted for by expatriates.
Tang Meng Loon, Gamuda Land Clubs Group General Manager, said: “At Kota Permai, our team are committed to delivering a first-class world golfing experience to our members and patrons.
“Hence we are pleased to have the hard work recognised at the Expatriate Lifestyle Awards. We will not rest on our laurels and take success for granted and we will continue to strive to be better in the things we do … on and off the course.”
Since opening in 2008, Kota Permai, a Golf Facility Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, has scooped numerous accolades including Best Course, Best Course Maintenance and Best Greens.
In a message to the event attendees and expatriates throughout the country, Expatriate Lifestyle Editor-in-Chief Antoine Commare said: “We couldn’t have done it without you. You nominated these names and you voted for the winners.”
This year, some 30,000 votes were cast over 18 categories, all chosen from shortlists over a 13-week voting period.
