Charity Golf Event in Aid of Nepal Earthquake Victims

CharityBangkok, Thailand: Absolute Golf Services [AGS] and Absolute Hotel Services [AHS] have raised almost 500,000 baht [about US$15,000] for earthquake victims in Nepal.
A total of 90 golfers participated in an AGS-organised fund-raising event at the Greg Norman-designed Thana City Golf and Sport Club in Samut Prakan.
A spokesperson for Absolute Golf Services, an Associate Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, said: “We are delighted that so many of our friends from the golfing world banded together in support of the people of Nepal at this tragic time.
“We are truly humbled and thankful for the enthusiasm shown by all who attended and their kind generosity in making this event a success.
“We hope that in some small way our donation can help alleviate the suffering of the Nepalese people and assist them in rebuilding their lives as quickly as possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with them today.”
The final total of 495,000 baht has been donated to the relief effort in Nepal via UNICEF.
Founded in 2009 and based in Bangkok with offices in Hong Kong, AGS provides professional club management services to public and private golf, sports and country clubs in Thailand, Myanmar and India.
