Singapore: Asian Golf Industry Federation Golf Facility Members Kota Pemai Golf Country Club and Laguna National Golf and Country Club have been recognised for their excellence.
While Kuala Lumpur’s Kota Permai has been named as Best Course in Malaysia, Laguna National’s Masters Course was voted runner-up in the Best Course in Singapore category.
Kota Permai’s sister club, Horizon Hills in Johor, was second runner-up in the Best Course in Malaysia segment.
Tang Meng Loon ofGamuda Land Clubs Group General Manager of Club Operations and Townships, said: “I attribute the clubs’ success to the commitment and dedication of our staff as well as the enduring support and co-operation by our members.”
Venue for the European Tour-sanctioned The Championship at Laguna National in May, the parkland-style Masters layout was also second runner-up in Best Championship Course in Asia.
Patrick Bowers, the club’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, said: “We are pleased to be recognised for the progress we have made in the golfing industry and will continue striving towards higher excellence in golf.”
