DSC_0071 LOWJohor Bahru, Malaysia: Needy children have once more benefitted from Gamuda Land Clubs’ tradition of Corporate Social Responsibility [CSR].
In the spirit of giving back to the community, management from leading Malaysian golf clubs Kota Permai and Horizon Hills delivered festive joy to Puspanesam Home in Johor Bahru with goodies and money packets being distributed among the children.
Gamuda Land Group General Manager of Club Operations and Townships Tang Meng Loon said CSR is a process ‘with the aim to embrace responsibility for the company’s actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities on the environment, employees, communities and all other members of the public sphere’.
Tang said: “Charity work is important for me and gives me an opportunity to give back to the community. I’ve always been a big supporter of various charities and it just feels great to do and be able to help others.”
Puspanesam Home, or Pertubuhan Kebajikan Puspanesam, was founded in 2004 by Devanasam David John, a single lady with a big heart for children in need.
Kota Permai and Horizon Hills are Golf Facility members of the Asian Golf Industry Federation.
