Nevada, United States: Pacific Links International has entered into an additional 27 Affiliate and Reciprocal Access club partnerships worldwide this year, increasing the Pacific Links Golf Network roster of participating private and resort clubs to more than 100.
Pacific Links looks to partner with a select number of private clubs in gateway cities in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, and in selected golf destinations around the world, to join with the Pacific Links owned and Affiliate Clubs in North America to create a worldwide network of golf experiences that add value to all the clubs participating.
Access to these exceptional properties is made available through a unique reciprocal membership product that helps each individual participating club differentiate itself in its local market.
Rudy Anderson, Vice President International Development of Pacific Links International, said: “Clubs in the 21st century will have to adapt to changing lifestyle habits of its current and future members in order to survive over the long run.
“Clubs will need new membership products and benefits that protect the exclusivity and traditions of their home club yet bring a new diversity that recognises the lifestyle changes of not only today’s members but the members of tomorrow.”
Pacific Links, a Full Business Member of the Asian Golf Industry Federation, is especially focused on developing a membership product that will bring exceptional destination golf experiences to individuals living in China.
Pacific Links has created and launched a unique membership offering which will provide Chinese citizens access to this network of world-class clubs. Pacific Links has eight membership sales offices throughout China promoting membership in the Pacific Links Golf Network.
Clubs have a choice of two programmes to gain access to the Pacific Links Golf Network and to its extraordinary golf courses in Hawaii, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and at all Network Clubs within the Asia-Australia region.
According to Anderson: “Affiliate Club status grants access privileges without payment of a green fee by the visiting outbound Affiliate Club member. Reciprocal Access Club status grants access privileges at discounted green fees.
“In all cases, participating clubs see new business and have revenue uplift by receiving controlled inbound play from all Network members and our traveling Chinese International membership. Unlike, tour operator relationships, only Pacific Links Golf Network members receive discounted benefits but they travel with full paying guests seeking destination golf experiences.”
What makes the Pacific Links Golf Network Programme unique is the fact that all tee time arrangements are handled through its Links2Golf Call Centres in Beijing and Las Vegas, making the administration of the programme easy and efficient for members and club staff.
Pacific Links is actively growing its portfolio and will soon announce additional partner clubs in Canada, Bermuda, Malaysia, and Thailand as well as additional courses in the United States.
Continuing on this momentum, the company plans to introduce an additional 15 Asia affiliated golf clubs in 2014 and 100 clubs over the next three years with a presence in every major metropolitan destination and golf market in the world.
