The 18-hole facility, designed by Cabell B. Robinson, is situated on the exclusive Sotogrande estate on the Andalucian coast, consistently ranked amongst Continental Europe’s most sought-after golf courses.
Having recently played host to the European Tour’s NH Collection Open, the property now looks forward to welcoming golfers for the 2014 Sotogrande Cup, presented by Troon. The event, which runs from July 6-9 includes rounds over the generous fairways and variety of tee options of La Reserva, in addition to a round at the 1997 Ryder Cup host venue Valderrama Golf Club.

Bruce Glasco, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Troon International Operations, said: “The expansion of the Troon Cup programme is testament to the combined effort of so many, from club directors to our individual associates, who continue to deliver world-class events.
“Many of the participants are from other Troon facilities and they take away fine memories and a desire to host their own installments, with their own individual twists. We are pleased to add La Reserva; it brings with it a fantastic golf offering following the club’s resurgence, headed. The addition of the Sotogrande Cup emphasises the ownership group’s continued commitment to elevate the property’s already impressive member and visitor experience.”
