Service Technician

Centaur Asia Pacific is looking for a Service Technician to be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and scheduled maintenance of consumer products such as Golf & Turf Equipment, lawnmowers, Tractors, utility vehicles, and other small products. The ideal candidate should have expertise and experience to use appropriate tools to successfully service most of these products. Reporting directly to the Service Manager and working closely with our principle PSM (Product Support Manager), full training will be provided on the setup, service and maintenance of all turf equipment supplied by the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Report directly to the Business Manager (Sales & Services)
• Ability to diagnose equipment utilizing diagnostic software and/or online technical manuals
• Perform component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning as part of the repair process
• Experience in Diesel engines and hydraulics
• Safely operate all equipment the dealership sells and services-Resolve electrical and mechanical issues
• Help the dealership by participating in special programs, such as sales of service packages.
• Communicate repairs with customers so they have an understanding of the work being done
• Communicate with principle Product Support Managers
• Participate in training programs
• Submit warranty claims and document in accordance with company policies
• Submit daily service job reports

Position Qualifications
• Polytechnic Diploma/Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automotive Technology (Light Vehicles) or equivalent
• 3 – 5+ years of experience working on Diesel engines and hydraulics
• Electronic diagnostic ability
• Ability to perform all tasks without supervision
• Ability to lift 35kg repeatedly
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Communicate with principle product support managers by email and telecommunication based in USA and Europe
• Candidates with class 3 driving license and/or possess own vehicle are preferred
