JOB SUMMARY
As a key member of our Executive Team, you will work closely with the Chief
Executive Officer, Chief Communications Officer, Bookkeeper, Board, Committees,
Members, Business Partners and any other people who are employed or engaged
by the AGIF. You will be responsible for the daily administration tasks, recruitment
and retention of members, as well as coordination with the Board and Committees
relating to all meetings and events. This position will work remotely.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain confidential membership information and database
- Generate membership reports and statistics
- Grow membership by actively contacting golf clubs, and companies engaged in the golf and sports turf industry to join the AGIF
- Manage administration tasks, such as attending meetings and taking minutes
- Work with communications department on news releases to members
- Manage digital assets and social media
- Plan, coordinate and execute education programs and member activities
REQUIREMENT & EXPERIENCE
- Min. Diploma Holder
- Proficient in MS Office and good communication skill (verbal and written)
- Able to work independently
- Pleasant personality, meticulous and a team player
- Able to work on evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
- Preferably, although not required, with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in golf club or membership organisations
